Terms of Use
These Terms govern use of the No-AI Pledge Registry (“NAPR”) website, public registry, policy index, research materials, news summaries, and submission tools.
Research and informational purpose
NAPR is a research registry and policy index. It is not legal, financial, employment, compliance, investment, or certification advice. Registry classifications summarize NAPR’s interpretation of public evidence under the published NAPR Standard.
No guarantee of completeness or currentness
Organizations can change, withdraw, replace, clarify, or relocate policies without notifying NAPR. NAPR aims to identify sources and verification dates, but it cannot guarantee that every relevant organization is included or that every entry reflects the most recent possible statement at every moment.
No endorsement or condemnation
Inclusion in NAPR does not constitute endorsement, approval, criticism, or condemnation of an organization or its AI practices. Absence from NAPR is not evidence that an organization does or does not use artificial intelligence.
Third-party sources
NAPR links to third-party websites as evidence and context. Those sites are controlled by their respective operators. NAPR is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, content, or privacy practices.
Submissions
By submitting a nomination, correction, policy source, news tip, or other material, you represent that you are permitted to provide it and that you are not knowingly submitting materially false information. Submission does not guarantee publication, classification, response, or inclusion.
Submitted material
You retain rights you may have in material you submit. You grant NAPR permission to review, store, reproduce internally, quote to the extent legally permitted, summarize, verify, and use submitted factual information and source references for operating, documenting, correcting, and improving the registry.
Registry data and site content
Public facts and third-party source materials remain subject to their respective legal status and rights. NAPR’s original classifications, summaries, taxonomy, presentation, software, research notes, and compilation may be protected by applicable law. Automated access should not interfere with site operation, evade technical restrictions, or misrepresent NAPR data.
Corrections and disputes
Organizations and readers are encouraged to identify errors, source changes, missing context, or classification disputes. NAPR’s process is described in Corrections & Disputes.
Changes
NAPR may modify the site, Standard, classifications, or these Terms as the project develops. Changes should be reflected by an updated effective date or version.
