Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes information practices for the No-AI Pledge Registry (“NAPR”). It is intended to describe the site as currently configured. If NAPR adds material new features—such as public accounts, paid subscriptions, analytics, alerts, or API access—this policy should be updated before or when those features are deployed.
Information you provide
NAPR may collect information that you voluntarily submit through nomination, correction, contact, or similar forms. Depending on the form, this can include an organization name, organization website, industry, country, policy title, source URL, notes or context, your name, and your email address.
Technical information
The current nomination processor may record an IP address, browser user-agent, submission time, and ordinary server-log information. NAPR uses this information for security, spam prevention, troubleshooting, operational integrity, and review of submissions.
How NAPR uses information
NAPR uses submitted information to review evidence, verify and classify public organizational AI policies, respond to submitters when appropriate, investigate corrections or disputes, maintain registry records, and protect the site from abuse.
What NAPR publishes
Registry records may publish organization names, public websites, policy titles, public-source URLs, classifications, policy summaries, verification dates, and other information derived from public sources. NAPR does not intend to publish a submitter’s private email address or private contact information merely because that person nominated a record.
Sharing and service providers
NAPR may use hosting, email, security, infrastructure, and other service providers necessary to operate the site. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, investigate abuse, or address a dispute. NAPR does not currently operate an advertising-data marketplace and does not intend to sell submission contact information.
Cookies
The public registry does not currently require a visitor account. The private NAPR administrative interface uses a necessary session cookie for authenticated administrator access. If NAPR later adds analytics, preferences, subscriptions, or other cookie-based features, this policy should be revised to describe them.
Do Not Track and preference signals
NAPR does not currently use the public site to build cross-site advertising profiles. Because the public site is not presently configured for sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, NAPR does not currently provide a separate advertising opt-out control. This statement should be reevaluated if NAPR’s tracking or commercial practices change.
Retention
NAPR may retain submissions, correspondence, source references, and verification records for as long as reasonably useful to operate, defend, document, or improve the registry. Historical policy evidence may be retained to preserve a research record of policy changes.
Requests and corrections
Privacy questions or requests concerning information you submitted may be sent to privacy@noaipledgeregistry.com. Registry-content corrections and classification disputes should use the Corrections & Disputes process.
Changes to this policy
NAPR may revise this policy as the site evolves. Material changes should be reflected by updating the effective date and version shown on this page.
